ANSWER TO PRAYER!
Great news! I got a call today from the Doctor and I have an "oferctomy" (sp? - which means having my ovaries removed) and a hysterectomy scheduled for Dec. 27th at 7:30a.m. at the Rose Medical Hospital/Center. The next day I will be able to begin my hormone therapy.
This is huge! It means that it meets the requirements of my doctor to have this surgery before the end of the month. That means that I don't have to have the shot that would shut down my ovaries and that would stay in my system for 3 months. If I hadn't been able to have the surgery by Dec. 31st, I'd have had to get that shot.
Please begin praying now for the surgeons, anethesiologist, and that my body would handle this surgery well with no clotting problems.
Thanks so much for your support and prayers! Keep them coming. He is so good!
