Welcome to our FINAL blog !!
Nili and I are back home safe. Nili has jumped full force into preparing for the Craft Boutique along with many of you. Steve, Gabe and I are back to the daily routine of our lives (Cleaning up after Steve and Gabes big buck kill!).

South Carolina was beautiful (pic) and we were able to visit the son, of some dear friends. Jonathan (pic) is stationed very close to where we were staying. We had a great visit.

Steve and Gabe went with some friends hunting while we were gone. The hunt went well for all, well, except the deer :( !

Two years ago today was the first of my surgeries how appropriate we are able to end this blog today.

Our lives have been strenghted by each of your prayers, acts of kindness, time, cards, finances and various demonstrations of love, support and encouragement. We have always said that we never walked or carried this burden alone, you have been right there with us.

My insurance approved procedure was successfully completed on Oct 29th. In addition there was one pending revision that insurance had not approved. What is so great is that the Dr. offered to "take care of it" and finished the last revision. Someone had allowed us to use some of their stand-by flight passes, so we were able to change our flight to accomadate this last minute "revision". So - I am - as it stands - today DONE!!!!!!!!!

We thank you G-d for ALL that you have done and look forward to what you have for our future. We would not have choosen to walk this path but trust you through it. We ask that this extension of life will be used for your glory. We Love you L-rd and are so grateful this is behind us. We ask that you give back to those who have given to us - in a way in which we are not capable of.

AMEN !!!!

Hello to Everyone!! I wanted to let you all know that I am getting ready to travel back to Charleston for, hopefully, what will be the last of my trips back there. (Unless of course we go to play and have fun) Tomorrow morning I will travel with my friend Nili to finish up what was started with Dr. Allen a little over 1 1/2 years ago. My appointment is for Wednessday at 9:30am and if all goes well it should only take a few hours. Nili and I will come back home on Thursday. Looking forward to the day when these blog updates are a thing of the past. Love Jamie Steve Gabe

We are all home safe and sound. Dawn is back in Seattle with her family, yeah! Phyllis, Steve, Gabe and I are all home, and we are glad. Things are going really well so we are just trying to settle in to the daily life stuff.

Thank you all so much for your support and prayers. We have never walked any of this alone.

MORE PRAYER & PRAISE... the doctor checked Jamie last night and found that she was bleeding. Several arteries had not been tied off. So they tied those off, but this a.m. Jamie was still swelling, she went back in and she had surgery at 6a.m. her time. This time she had more than a local anesthesia (sp?), and what they found was a large blood clot! Thankfully, they found it and removed it! They think that is what was causing the bleeding.

She does have a drain now (didn't before) and this is an area for prayer. Pray that: 1. there would be no infection or more blood clotting from the drain, and 2. that they would be able to fly home on Thursday as planned (otherwise, will incur more housing costs, etc.) She goes in tomorrow for a post-op appointment with the Dr. and will be told then if she can go home on Thursday. Doctor is hopeful that she'll be able to go.

Needless to say, this was a bit traumatizing and raised everyone's stress levels. Please keep them covered in prayer! (This is 2nd hand information via Kristi Rolin/Steve Wygant, so keep in mind that I may not have all the details correct!)

Blessings,

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST! Jamie has had to go back to the hospital for complications... she has swelling on one side and they are taking her in to find out why. Please pray for the doctors to have great wisdom and favor as they examine our friend. Also, that the swelling would go down quickly!

Thanks for your prayers and we'll keep you updated!

GREAT NEWS! Jamie is out of surgery and doing great! I just got a call from Steve saying that the surgery went fine, went more quickly than they thought and Jamie is in recovery where she will stay until after lunch. Then she'll be released and sent home! Wahoo. Tomorrow she should be up and around... thanks so much for everyone's prayers!

(Kristi Rolin is organizing meals for the Wygants for when they come home. Call her if you are interested in helping 303.278.4564.)

Thank you, Jesus, that all went so well!

It is time for us to go to bed and get ready for the morning. Gabe is in bed - he isn't feeling well :( We're hoping he gets better tomorrow.

The funniest thing happened to us tonight. We stopped at a store in Charleston and as I was on my way to the "Ladies room" I looked to my right and saw Dr. Allen right there in the store. I got a pre - pre op visit. It was an encouragement to see him.

We have received MANY phone calls and know that your prayers and petitions are being shared with the Lord. We are in agreement with those conversations and requests of G-d.

We serve a good G-d, and are grateful for each of you in our lives.

Good night.

Well everyone - meet Pilot Gavriel Wygant!! - Just jokin... Captain Frank Saxon and his co-captain - plus the rest of the team, helped to provide a memory for Gabe!! We were thankful for their kindness. (But he won't be flying us home - Gabe I mean)

This is the wonderful "Delta Crew" that served us on the first flight of our trip to Charleston. They really made it special for Gabe - which he really enjoyed and is still talking about it.

Here is Dawn, Phyllis, Steve and Jamie (Gabe is taking picture) at Starbucks!!
