We have REALLY REALLY fantastic news!!

On Tuesday, Jamie was given a PET/CT scan to check for cancer. Today she received the call that "ALL WAS CLEAR"! We are full of gratefulness for this news. Thank you Lord!

In addition, the insurance HAS approved Dr. Robert Allen and his procedure for Jamie's surgery. SOOOO - Off we go to Charleston, South Carolina on May 12 through May 24 at Roper Hospital. Jamie's surgery will be on the 15th. She will recoup in the hospital for approx 5 days and then stay for follow-up check-up, an additional 5 days. Her estimated recoup time is 4-6 weeks.

Some of the finer details and logistics for our time there, are being worked out as quickly as possible.

While we are there - we hope to keep you informed of how things are going - on this blog site.

Prayer requests:

G-ds peace and strength and encouragement as we go through this surgery.
Dr. Allen and his medical team and staff to be wise.
That the anesthetic would work really good and have minor or no side affects.
Jamies' blood would do well with the surgery and recovery.
Recovery would be beyond what our natural minds can understand.
The specific details of this whole trip/surgery would come from G-d.
The responsibilities of things we have now-in our daily life would not become overshadowed by this or neglected.
That the return trip home will go well.

We are looking forward to the day when our prayers will take on a change of focus. But until then, we gain strength and stability from your willingness to seek G-d on our behalf.
