Well, the past 3 months have certainly been a mixture of challenges for our family. Some challenges were easier to face than others. Through each challenge – we were NEVER alone. We serve a G-d that is ALWAYS faithful.

I’m (Jamie) not sure that words will adequately capture what we want to convey, but here goes. We want each of you to understand that we have not walked this journey alone. The physical part, yes, but emotionally and spiritually, this has not been, just our fight.

We remember at the prayer meeting in the chapel, something that our friend David had declared to the enemy. “IF – YOU TAKE ON ONE OF US (meaning Jamie), YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE ON ALL OF US!!!!!” (Para-phrased) But the reality of this declaration has lived in truth the last months. We believe the burden of this journey has been as weighty on you as it has been on us. In honesty, we wonder sometimes if it’s been harder on some of you than it has been for us. We believe G-d has allowed many of you to carry some of the emotional and spiritual burdens for us. With our words we say “THANK YOU!!” In our prayers we ask that the Lord to reveal to each of you - what warriors you have been on behalf of us.

As an update - Jamie is now done with the “Have To” surgeries. She has started the treatment and will continue with that over the next 5 years. Aside from continued visits to Dr. Frank we are praying that only one area remains to be completed. That area is the restorative physical part. We are in the process of seeking which procedure G-d has for Jamie. Once we have some clarity on that we will email/blog you with that information. Once we have approval we will be figuring out the timing for that to be accomplished.

Until then, we hope that soon we may have an opportunity to take Gabe away for a “fun” break. We hope to go somewhere warm (? Florida). We’re hoping to just break away for a time of refreshing.

We are blessed to have each of you in our lives!!!

Love Steve – Jamie - Gabe
